They almost appeared to be floating when they first came on my screen. Lovely rendition of roses in this image.....especially the very pale vase and background color.

@Tracey: Thanks very much, Tracey ... as a photographer, I'm not afraid to embrace my feminine side! It is layered with several textures (check out http://www.florabellacollection.com ) ... that vase was sitting on a wide window sill (ivory) in front of a large, west facing window in my office ... too much light spilling in so I placed a piece of ivory-colored foam core directly behind the vase, which prevented blowing out the highlights but, still, allowed for a sufficient amount of diffused, natural light to fall on the bouquet. ron
