Old soul iiPosted by Ron (Saint Louis, United States) on 9 September 2009 in Plant & Nature and Portfolio. This little kitty is the son of Top Cat [the one on the left]. Top Cat and Scaredy Cat were strays that took up residence on our deck last summer/fall. Before we could get them spayed both were pregnant. Top Cat had a litter of six and Scaredy Cat a litter of four. Yesterday we found a good home for the last two of this one's siblings (Blackie and Tiger). We're keeping this one that we call Yeller. Before they were adopted we had all the kittens spayed/neutered and all their vaccinations ... mommas were spayed as soon as they weened the kitties. There was no "room at the inn" ... the Humane Society had more animals (in these difficult economic times) than they could accommodate ... so we posted notices on the internet and at a good vet's office and we adopted out nine kittens over a three month period. Happy that they've all found good homes ... just a little bit sad that there's not a chorus of kitties to greet me at the top of the steps in the morning ... ron
