And handsome boys they are! I have a processing question for you. In yesterday's and today's images, the kids had really soft, unusually smooth skin. It almost looks a bit unnatural to me. Are you using a blur layer on the skin?

@Tracey: As always, Tracey, thanks for the visit ... insight comment ... and the question. No blur layer ... in fact, the only PP is a slight curves adjustment and selective sharpening of the eyes. I think the smoothness of the skin might be attributed to a combination of the lighting (and shadow) and the significant reduction in size. The younger brother in this pic definitely has some smooth skin and that may be because the helmet is shading his face. When I first looked at today and yesterday's images full size I was amazed at the number of nicks, scratches and scars on the faces of the little girl and the older brother, in particular. Anyway ... thanks ... I appreciate that you're looking at my photos so closely. I hope to be getting back to a more sane schedule in my life soon so I can participate actively in the Am3 community ... ron
Wonderful portrait. I really like that the older brother is looking at the camera and the younger one is looking elsewhere...wondering what is catching his attention adds an interesting dimension to the shot.
