GJC from Kyoto, JapanExquisite -- almost suggestive of the plant as much as representing it. 7 Feb 2009 8:54am Giovanni from Milan, ItalyA lovelly winter scene beautifully composed and captured! Bravo! 7 Feb 2009 12:21pm Cricket from Alabama, United StatesLovely softness and unique color. Very flattering image. 7 Feb 2009 8:06pm Chris from South Jersey, United Stateswonderfully soft processing - really beautiful and goes well with the colors and subject - the shot is so peaceful..... 7 Feb 2009 8:12pm @VEERLE TIJTGAT: Thanks for your visit and comment ... ron Andrew Gould from Sydney, AustraliaSubtle and very beautiful. Love the tones and the composition, itself. I do like number one in this series, too, but if I had to choose, it would be this one. There's nothing wrong at all in a digital image if it's obviously been creatively processed. It seems to me that in this second one, the viewer would have to think of this consciously to be aware of it, whereas it's the processing that stands out as a feature of the first one. 7 Feb 2009 11:08pm @Andrew Gould: Thanks for your very thoughtful comment, Andrew ... I was looking to create a mood with this little three-picture series and softness seemed to me to be the way to go ... ron Chris Parr from Jefferson City, United StatesWonderful softness and yet very sharp where it needs to be. Brilliantly done! 8 Feb 2009 2:09am john4jack from Corvallis, United StatesDynamite selective focus.
