Stunning colours in this image, quite a moody image I feel and you have framed this capture really well, I can't put my finger on it but perhaps it is the colour that blends so beautifully together that makes this a totally awesome shot! great work Ron.

I REALLY don't miss St Louis in the winter (or July or August for that matter). On the other hand, there was always something poignant about this time of year. Christmas season was cozy and festive. But then came January, February, March, and as the UCity poet said, that great teaser, April.

@MontereyJohn: Thanks, John ... I'm a native St. Louisan ... I lived in Chicago for eight years after college so St. Louis weather seems almost moderate ... but I do know what you mean ... February is the worst for me. I appreciate your comments.

Isn't it wonderful how the sky turns such a wonderful color of blue in the fall. I even noticed the sky is so clear here at night that the stars are lighting up my path to take the dogs on one last walk before bed.
