Rio Grande Gorge BridgePosted by Ron (Saint Louis, United States) on 12 October 2008 in Landscape & Rural and Portfolio. Just northwest of Taos, New Mexico, on U.S. 64 is the Rio Grande Gorge Bridge. The valley flatlands, tinted blue-green with stubbly sage and chamisa, suddenly yawn into a black gash 650-feet deep, cut into the earth by millions of years of water flow through this high desert arroyo.
