Kylie Greenan from Richmond, AustraliaWhat a stunning place, I love the purple hue, it gives this palce such a wonderful peaceful feel. Lovely composition here Ron, great work! 14 Sep 2008 8:10am Florence from Paris, FranceThis purple prairie seems to reflect its colour in the sky... or maybe the contrary... beautiful tonalities Ron and thanks for your com today ! :-) 14 Sep 2008 10:12am Betty from New Jersey, United StatesThe grass is so lush, the purple just beautiful. Nice shot. 14 Sep 2008 11:14am Monte Stevens from Fort Collins, United StatesVery nice, Ron. The horizon can stretch forever. 14 Sep 2008 12:56pm Earnest from Oklahoma, United StatesYep, looks familiar and you really brought out some interesting color. 14 Sep 2008 1:53pm hugo poon from hong kong, Hong KongWonderful fine craft and artistic treatment!! 14 Sep 2008 5:30pm Marion from Nanaimo, BC, Canadaand most beautiful Ron. The colors are awesome. Is this an HDR treatment or how it came from the camera? Your photography always blows me away. 14 Sep 2008 6:05pm @Marion: You are too kind, Marion, and I truly appreciate your visits and feedback. This is an HDR ... three exposures. I shot this back in the Spring and just wasn't pleased with the way it looked versus the way I remembered it looking in my mind. In my mind the purple (which is an invasive weed that gets sprayed and dies off before Spring planting) seemed to stretch on forever and I didn't get that feel when I processed the image. Last night I decided to post it and see what type of reaction it received. Thanks agains, ron ... Graham Russon from Cape Town, South AfricaFantastic shot, composition is awesome. Same question as Marion as far as HDR goes. 14 Sep 2008 6:56pm @Graham Russon: It is an HDR, Graham ... three exposures processed in Photomatix Pro. This was shot back in the Spring ... today that field is covered in corn six-feet (two meters) tall. Observing from West Cheshire, United KingdomSuper shot of the prarie, the purple colors give a rich tone to the image. 14 Sep 2008 9:18pm Tracey from White Hall, United StatesLove how the HDR gave such vivid details. Lovely shot! 15 Sep 2008 1:10am danthro from Suburbia, United Statesthe purple is a bit disconcerting but i love the light on the green grass 15 Sep 2008 8:47am Jrask from Pasadena, United Statesand they are apparently made of watercolor beautiful-ness. 16 Sep 2008 1:36am |
