WOW Ron, what a beautiful sharp image... often with stage lighting photography can be quite difficult but you have captured a beautiful moment here, just gorgeous, so much detail to look at, great work!

@Marion: She is a beautiful woman ... very expressive! I'm actually not sitting in a seat ... I shot these pictures at the dress rehearsal ... so I'm sitting on the floor ... leaning up against the edge of the stage and moving all about the theater to get different angles and shots. It's a great learning experience!

@danthro: Truth is, I really don't spend a lot of time at the theater ... I can't remember the last movie I saw at the theater, and you could probably count the number of plays/musicals I've seen on your fingers and toes ... I've taken the opportunity to shoot pictures at the dress rehearsals of these operas mainly to sharpen my skills as a photographer. I learn something about framing a shot or capturing interest each time I shoot at one of these. This is the last opera of the season ... so it will probably be next June (when this company's season begins again) before I'm back in the theater.
