Betrayed

In a jealous rage, Otello (Brian Landry, tenor) accuses Desdemona (Christia Starnes, soprano) of betraying him with one of his military subordinates in the Union Avenue Opera production of Giuseppe Verdi's Otello. In truth, it is Otello who has been betrayed by his ensign, Iago.

Otello would be the final opera written by Verdi. It is based on Shakespeare's tragic tale Othello.
