What a beautiful composition here. When thinking about the subject and having a look at your settings I would have been afraid taking this shot with as much as 1/40s. Did not do your picture any bad, but why did you go for such a 'long' exposure?

@Mirko Herzner: I generally shoot in aperture priority ... I was probably shooting something just before this and wanted f/7.1 and when this little family appeared that's what I had my camera set at ... truth is, several of the shots I took of this group were blurred from shooting too slow. I'm still learning ... but I learn something new everyday! Thanks Mirko.
