Ron, Blue on pink and so much more. Splendid. I am surprised in that I thought the wispy light across the water was from a long exposure - but the data shows you shot at 1/125 sec. - I would love to know what caused the effect. Whatever it is - it created a winner. Beautiful.

@Stephen Phillips: Thanks very much for your kind words, Stephen. I can only surmise that the beautiful effect on the surface of the water was caused by a slight breeze (I had to wait patiently for the right moment to snap) and the way the light was playing on the ripples caused by the breeze. Whatever it was ... it created a lovely effect.

Very beautiful picture with not only this photogenic water lily but also the blue dragon fly. I like also the reflections in the water. What would you think to crop a little the right to show only a small part of the leaves? There is a competition with the main subject because of their bigger size.
