Giannetta ... a peasant girl

And now for something completely different ... this is a scene from the Gaetano Donizetti opera L'elisir d'amore. I was fortunate to be able to shoot at the dress rehearsal this past Tuesday. The Union Avenue Opera production of L'elisir d'amore opened last evening. This is the lovely Giannetta, a peasant girl.

Wow...amazing clarity for shooting at ISO 1000. The lighting makes her facial features really stand out. She has beautiful bone structure around her jaw! Wonderful portrait.
