@danthro: He's been going to these driving schools sponsored by the local BMW club for the past three years. They teach all types of driving skills during a two-day event, during which time they get out on the track with their instructor in the car with them (you can see a second person sitting in the passenger's seat). There are others (at the same skill level) on the track at the same time.
There's a real feeling of speed here. Well done!
