What flower is this?? 25 May 2008 7:30pm @Liz: The flower looks like what we call vinca (commonly referred to as periwinkle) but these are wildflowers ... they're blooming along the edge and into woodlands here in the center of the U.S. right now ... they'll be gone before too long ... once the heat begins to ramp up.
