Wow! this is kept in good condition. A great capture Ron. "You can be sure of Shell" or so the advert used to say here, back in the 70's

It's not only the pump, but the building, the windows, that's what I imagine is the spirit of the Route 66.

Excellant color in this shot. It's a beautiful vintage pump....now I wonder if I can get the vintage price at this pump.

That's a great old vintage model. Do you agree that things were better then....? BTW Ron, it was 'Shell' that operated out photo club (see my about page). Great shot bud.

Great nostalgic image...beautiful vibrant colors, great light. I love the shapes and lines of these old pumps.

What a great subject and image. The subdued light is very attractive, although I think I might have played around with the levels in postprocessing, and brought the highlights up a fraction. (Just an idea.)

Evil Shell has a great friendly looking logo with gorgeous colours. I wonder if the red is for all the blood the continue to cause to be shed. That is a beautiful shade shot. It looks great with the white background.

Nice shot. Great color. I would guess it has been reconditioned to be in that nice of shape. Total sale $5.74, I guess that means they just got a gallon. ;-) Hopefully we don't actually get to that point.

Isn't it strange how much we are attracted to the ordinary just by the passage of time. Very nice.
