4961 ... spring v

This is the old-fashioned lilac bush just outside my kitchen window. This shot was taken April 26; the blooms are all but gone now ... just the faint scent of lilac hangs in the air. This concludes your spring tour of my (4961 is my street address) backyard.

Very nice. I can almost smell them. We had some very big lilac bushes behind our house when I was a kid. A great fragrance. Not sure what kind they were, but they were a darker purple.
