Rhys from Darlington, United Kingdomlove it, could almost be 7 separate images in a long series, nice one. 3 May 2008 6:02am António Pires from Lisbon, PortugalGood photo. Without the bars it would have been just a common photo of flowers. 3 May 2008 9:47am yiannis krikis from thessaloniki, GreeceI like the combination you make here - nice image 3 May 2008 9:55am Paul van der Meer from Valkenswaard, NetherlandsBeautiful shot Ron, my compliments! 3 May 2008 11:11am Michael Skorulski from Cigel, SlovakiaA really lovely composition, Ron. Your detail and colors are excellent. 3 May 2008 11:43am Chris from South Jersey, United StatesVery interesting shot - very non traditional with the bars. Actually it makes it (for me) a bit sad.... 3 May 2008 12:10pm @Chris: The bars are just a wrought-iron fence ... but I could see how it might be translated into sadness ... thanks, Chris. Observing from Chester, United KingdomA division, or barrier if you will between the tulips and the public. Interestingly there are no bars on the far side. This is a difficult one Ron, bit it's a very fine shot with a unique theme. 3 May 2008 12:50pm Monte Stevens from Fort Collins, United StatesAn unusual image with the bars and I agree it does look almost like seperate images. I like it! 3 May 2008 1:02pm Graham Russon from Cape Town, South AfricaFantastic image, from the thumbnail I thought it was a series of shots. Well spotted. 3 May 2008 2:02pm Wysterior from Kloten, SwitzerlandHow funny - just a bit like a view from jail... Very well seen and composed!!! 3 May 2008 6:33pm Betty from New Jersey, United StatesI love this shot! At first I thought it was a series of shots! Great composition. 3 May 2008 11:55pm Ken McCoy from Orlando-Daytona Beach, FL, United StatesYou have wonderfully vivid images! This one is a bit more subdued but still intense in its own way - I love the smooth satiny texture to the image. 4 May 2008 1:33am John Maslowski from Dallas, PA, United StatesExcellent job framing and composing this shot. Beautiful flowers here, nice one. 4 May 2008 1:34am danthro from Suburbia, United Statesvery cool framing and composition. beautiful lines and color too. great idea. who'da thought shooting through a fence could look so cool 4 May 2008 2:06am GJC from Kyoto, JapanEveryone has already said, but I agree as well that the bars put this "above the bar" :) It makes it a much more interesting photo and gives us pause to think. I agree with those who find it somewhat stark because of the contrast between the gentle tilt of the flowers and the rigid straight of the bars. Interesting, unexpected shot. 4 May 2008 9:51pm Melissa W. from Warsaw, Indiana, United StatesI really like this...it's almost like a series of images put together. This is a great idea (I'll have to remember this). Wonderful light. 6 May 2008 12:03am |
