Wade in the waters ...

This twice-life-size sculpture, which commemorates the centennial of the Lewis and Clark Expedition, sits below the Eades Bridge along the Mississippi River in St. Louis. The sculpture includes "Seaman," Lewis' large black Newfoundland dog. It is normally not submerged in river water, but with all our spring rains it has taken on new meaning.
