Ron this is simply beautiful. It looks like cherry blossoms laid on a shiny table with a crystal lamp stand behind it. Wonderful composition and clarity and I love it in black and white.

@Marion: Thanks, Marion. Actually, it's pear blossoms laid on my boss's desk (she gets great early morning light spilling into her office and across her desk, which is almost ebony in its deep, rich color) and it is a crystal lamp behind. The clarity is incredible ... you can even see the dust that I failed to completely wipe away.

A great photo - I wouldn't have thought to try spring flowers in b&w, but this works wonderfully. Great composition and lighting.
