Melissa W. from Warsaw, Indiana, United StatesWow! This maybe my favorite of this series. Just stunning! 3 Apr 2008 5:08am Marion from Nanaimo, BC, CanadaGreat night shot Ron, but then all of your pictures are just top notch. Such a clean, crisp capture. A ccc ;D 3 Apr 2008 5:10am Michael Skorulski from Cigel, SlovakiaExcellent. A wonderfully symmetrical image with pleasing lighting. 3 Apr 2008 5:56am Mike from Chester, United KingdomYou've captured the different levels of light very well, great image. 3 Apr 2008 6:51am Anita from West Nottingham, United StatesVery nice! I like the patterns of lights going off at angles in opposite directions. 3 Apr 2008 11:10am Lorraine from Gatineau, CanadaOh 'wow absolutely exquisite, the shape, the lights, the angle, you've proven once again that hte middle can be grand as well ;) 3 Apr 2008 2:46pm Betty from New Jersey, United StatesFantastic shot! Love the colors, composition, everything! 3 Apr 2008 3:09pm Shrig from NorthEast, United StatesWONDERFUL color. This is so pretty, Ron. I like your photos very much. I'll be back :) 3 Apr 2008 4:06pm fairuz from shah alam, Malaysiagreat perspective. 3 Apr 2008 4:42pm danthro from Suburbia, United Statesbeautiful light you've captured here. nice night shot! 3 Apr 2008 5:29pm Camiller from Lisboa, PortugalExcellent! Great play of light and shadows. Good work. 3 Apr 2008 6:55pm Illuci from Hurdegaryp, NetherlandsPerfect balance in composition and light sources. The architectural style (you also could have posted it under "architecture" as well) is visible in the lighting, the upper lights are like short swords, I think it's Art Deco. 3 Apr 2008 7:29pm Ronnie 2¢ from London, United KingdomAnother early-morning winner! You are maintaining a nice balance in this series and this is a perfect exposure. 3 Apr 2008 8:13pm Wysterior from Kloten, SwitzerlandWhat an impressive lovely deep purple. 1/15 second seems very short to me. 3 Apr 2008 9:26pm GJC from Kyoto, JapanI think you've found a unique way to express yourself with these night shots! They are fabulous. The blue tones here contrast nicely with yesterday's shot, for example, and again the contrast between bright and dark areas is really good. I could see an exhibition of these photos in a gallery. 3 Apr 2008 10:31pm Tracey from Baltimore, United StatesI really love this one too, Ron. I think the whole series is outstanding. You may have answered this before, so forgive me if I missed it, but are you setting up a tripod in the middle of the road? 3 Apr 2008 10:57pm @Tracey: No ... all handheld. I do have IS (image stabilized) lenses which helps when shooting at these relatively slow shutter speeds. Thanks for the positive feedback, Tracey. MaryB from Staffordshire, United KingdomWow another incredible night shot Ron, this series is great. 3 Apr 2008 11:43pm lucie from san francisco, United Stateswow. no way can i hold my camera that still, IS or not 4 Apr 2008 12:13am Bonj from Jefferson City, United StatesAnother nice night shot. Dramatic lighting. 4 Apr 2008 2:54am dobbino from Cape Town, South AfricaCatching up with what I've missed the past few days - this is my favourite of the series. 9 Apr 2008 12:17pm @Pouhou: Early riser ... get up about 4:30 a.m. most days ... sometimes earlier ... |
