Michael Skorulski from Cigel, SlovakiaGood fun and humorous advice. I'll get my trainers on! 2 Apr 2008 5:36am Vikram from Mesa, United StatesHe he... good one! 2 Apr 2008 7:26am Ronnie 2¢ from London, United KingdomLove these early-morning streetshots of yours. The reflections in the wet highway and the call of those signs really make this special. 2 Apr 2008 8:01am MaryB from Staffordshire, United KingdomA great night shot Ron, I love the warm welcoming light from the building and the way the coloured lights bathe the wet street with the same welcoming glow. 2 Apr 2008 9:58am Bonj from Jefferson City, United StatesGreat night shot. Once again I think the wet pavement only adds to the photo reflecting the lighting so well. Make sure you watch for traffic from behind, standing there in the middle of the road. "IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD YOU SEE THE DARNDEST THINGS" 2 Apr 2008 11:56am danthro from Suburbia, United Statesinteresting sign. like how you captured the reflection of the light on the wet ground. 2 Apr 2008 4:20pm Graham Russon from Cape Town, South AfricaReflections in this are awesome, great capture 2 Apr 2008 7:39pm Wysterior from Kloten, SwitzerlandSo cool night shot with beautiful reflections on the wet road. 2 Apr 2008 9:03pm @Wysterior: Fewer carbs refers to carbohydrates, which a lot of Americans who are dieting or watching their weight "count" like calories. So, while it doesn't literally mean low calories, it does in a round-about-way equate to a better option for those who are watching their weight. Watching one's intake of carbohydrates became the "in" thing with the South Beach Diet several years back: the concept is to eliminate "simple" carbs (sugars) from your diet, which are metabolized much faster, in favor of "complex" carbohydrates (such as grains that are higher in fiber), which are metabolized slower and, therefore, provide a better source of fuel for the human body. Michael Rawluk from Prince George, CanadaThe reflections on the road really make the shot. 3 Apr 2008 12:21am amy from Rocky Mountain House, CanadaNICELY seen and captured! The reflections on the road are amazing but the humor in that sign is contagious!! (would like to see that movie, too) 3 Apr 2008 3:20am Melissa W. from Warsaw, Indiana, United StatesLove the neon; but like everyone else has mentioned, that reflection is the real show stopper. ;) 3 Apr 2008 4:40am Illuci from Hurdegaryp, NetherlandsA lightscape! Brilliantly done, Ron, you simply use the light to SUGGEST a city square, this is light art. I enjoy it! 3 Apr 2008 7:31pm GJC from Kyoto, JapanAnother terrific night shot. The reflection is superb and I like how you have bright illumination and then very dark areas as well. 3 Apr 2008 10:29pm |
