The metal tree and you photo of it! NICE!!! 21 Feb 2008 7:49am Lorraine from Gatineau, CanadaWow isn't that unusual, steel tree...amazing, great finish whatever you did ;) 21 Feb 2008 12:54pm @Lorraine: It really is a stainless steel tree – piece of sculpture. It sits outside the St. Louis Art Museum in Forest Park – St. Louis' largest urban park. In processing, I did try to pull back some of the reflection off the edges of the branches. The lens flare was naturally occurring also. I had some shots without the flare, but I sort of like it in the shot. Melissa from Warsaw, United StatesLove the flare; it carries the eyes to the tree. The light reflecting off the tree/branches is fantastic. Great stuff! 21 Feb 2008 4:02pm Frankie from Boxmeer, NetherlandsThe lighting on this tree is very beautiful. The stainless steel gives this tree an unusual appearence. The contrast with the blue sky is great. Well done. 21 Feb 2008 7:22pm amy from Rocky Mountain House, CanadaFabulous sculpture... Excellent capture of it, Ron!! 21 Feb 2008 10:18pm Viewfinder from Bradenton, United StatesBravo Ron. This is really a striking capture. I agree with you, the lens flare adds some zest to the shot. 21 Feb 2008 11:16pm danthro from Suburbia, United Statesvery nice contrast! i like the weird sort of round perspective created by the rays of light. 22 Feb 2008 12:29am Bonj from Jefferson City, United StatesWhen the page first opened and I saw the glistening branches, it made me think of the ice covered branches from the recent ice storms and then I saw the caption and started noticing the detail. Nice job! Cool tree and cool pic. 22 Feb 2008 1:15am e. from New York, NY, United StatesWow, this is gorgeous! The colors in this are fantastic. 22 Feb 2008 8:07am Illuci from Hurdegaryp, NetherlandsStunning stainless steel!
