The day I bought my new camera I spent about three hours walking around Forest Park taking shots and trying to keep my fingers and hands warm (it was 15º [F] but beautifully sunny). At the end of my photo trek in the park I walked into the FP Visitor's Center and walked into this room, which has probably 15 windows with black-out shades on three sides. The light was still seeping in around the edges of the shades, and the room was just the most beautiful warm space with polished concrete floors and white walls. I sat on the floor and marveled at the beauty of black, white and natural light. It was high-contrast overload and much more stunning than this shot conveys...but the end to a perfect day.
it's very striking, fantastic b&w...

This is a really surreal image, i'm glad you explained it! I love it though. Might make a cool idea for a background in a model shoot hmm.....
